I know how to do it with 2004, but I've been playing 2005 a bit the past couple days, and I can't figure it out.
In 2004 you setup a profile offline, went into a game with that profile selected, customized the playbook (offense and defense) from there, and there was some way to save that, so when you went online and selected that profile, it would remember your plays. How do you do it in 2005? I'm lost.
And while I'm at it, how the **** do you win online? I was decent in 2004, but I am god awful at 2005. I have major issues with the flaws in this game, but if I can figure out SOME way to win I can overlook them to get some enjoyment out of this.
Offensively, because D is over-done in this game, slashing is a joke, as is shooting, and frankly posting never seems to work either because the shot either misses, or they strip the ball away. That leaves.... nothing to do to score.
Defensively, the magical wall that this game gives the D seems to lift when it's my turn. I can get blown by easily it seems.
I guess in the end it seems like when it's the other guy on O, he's running plays that both myself and my dumb as rocks AI teammates don't even cover, allowing open jumpers or layups/dunks, but when it's flip-flopped, none of the defaults I run (all 3 of them, basically, I refuse to iso with no slashing available), the defense seems to know where my players are going before I do.
This is all online mind you so it's not some weird AI thing.
Just leaves me frustrated as hell.
