CAP SPACE

I am a belgium nba live 2005 player and I have a question!!!
I'm doing great with my 1 first with the Hawks (after sixers and lakers) but I can't trade or sign players because I don't have cap space.
But what the hell is cap space??!!!

Welcome .. and I'll try to keep it simple:

Cap space means you're limited in the amount of money you can sign players. For example, if you have lots of good players that are "expensive" then you won't have enough cap room to sign more good "expensive" players. If you have "cheap" players and no good players, then you have enough cap space (money) to sign good "expensive" players.

Should be in NBA Live 2005 Dynasty Issues. Moving it there.

There's also a couple of other threads with some detailed explanations as well as tips to reduce your payroll and thus increase/gain cap space in the Dynasty Issues section.
