Free Throw Problems

Tue May 03, 2005 11:09 pm

Hi all,

I'm getting quite frustrated with this game. I'm currently trying my own pre season with the Bulls (this years - rookies edited to match their stats).

I'm doing 8 games on all star level using Andy's sliders. I'm 0-7 :-(

I tried a game with the Spurs vs the Sonics when I'm 0-6 and I win, then I go back to the Bulls and lost in overtime. So far the first two games weren't great but since then I either start the game and drop down half a dozen points then match the computre or I'm level all the way and can't pull out a win.

Anyway I've rattled on enough, basically I use player lock and in the last 3 games have lost by 3-4 points per game, I check the stats, I've more rebounds, higher assists, lower turnover, higher fg% but often have 10-15 less free throw attempts.

What can I do to rectify this?

Perhaps you should try increasing fouls sliders because you can't make your teammates play more agressively. Also you can player lock PF or C. I didn't play the Bulls much but I think you can play pretty well with Curry and Chandler.
However, you can stop usin player lock because when controlling all the players you can control every aspect of the game better.

I know, I prefer to use player lock though, I find the game more challenging. The games quite easy at this level without lock, you know a few inside scores and it's just kick out and shoot. With Lock it gets a little frustrating when the Curry or Chandler doesn't throw it to the wide open Hinrich or Piatkowski.

All part of the challenge I guess.

I do notice the bas aspect of playing Gordon at the 2. He's a good scorer but you really do need to be wide open against taller guys.

If I edit the foul slider surely both teams will go to the line more? Is there a slider for just the user side of things? Will look later, ta.
