I tried using excel last night and it doesnt recognize the file and it cannot open them. can someone give me tips. sadly I dont have internet access at home yet and i cant download the editor here in nlsc because i access through an office computer.
Well, Excell sometimes makes the .dbf files corrupt, so I wouldn't recomend using that one.
The editor in the NLSC database (DB Commander 2000 Pro) is great for editing NBA Live's .dbf files. If you somehow can get that one, it would be best...
thanks... well i know its the best right now. but my issue is i cant get the file right now. in the meantime, i am looking for alternatives. i have heard somewhere that ms access is a database program. can I edit the dbf files from there?
You can use Microsoft Access to edit dbf files. You just need to open Access, then create a new database, then use option 'link table' and select dbf file that you want. It is much better to use Access than Excel, I think. I hope this will be helpfull.
