It's a nice lineup, but a bit too talented for my tastes. I prefer not to have too many star players, as I find it makes the game a bit too easy. I used to assemble teams like that when NBA Live 2000 introduced the first in-depth multi-season mode, but these days it just doesn't feel right to me to play that way. But if you're having fun, that's all that matters.

I agree with Andrew, I would not have any fun playing with this unrealistic team... and to answer your question: You either trade for them or wait one more season as they will then be free agent... if they don't resign with their original team.

im wondering about my lineup too im using the rockets and it goes
YaoMing(C)
DikemeMutombo(PF)
Padgett(SF)
McGrady(SG)
Wesley(PG)
i dont think i need to trade anyone but i figure wesley makes a better point guard as his stats are much better then sura and my PF pos. is jjust a test :)

Mutombo at PF???

Good luck having him run up and down the court and man-mark Nowitzki...

Just to add to what Goldberg posted, if you want to acquire those players through trades you're going to have to give up a couple of guys in your starting lineup. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait until they're free agents and hope they don't re-sign with their current teams.

Mexez -> Yeha your lineup is very talented, not too over powered tho, just powerful. I think J-Rich would be better at SF than Kobe. Also dont gamble your money on Melo and Bron being avaliabe in the offseason, chances are they will resign.

Willie -> I dont really think it matters too much who you have as PG, just let T-Mac handle the ball. I would go:
Yao
Howard (If hes not injured)
T-Mac
Wesley
Sura

I'm not too sure this team is too talented. In real life maybe, but then again it's not as talented as the 2000 Lakers on Bulls of the 90's.

Howard - (unless he's got much better over the years on your version) is a very plain player. Little offense but a solid rebounder.

Stoudemire - is a nifty player and a good second level star but he isn't rated that good on 2005. The same as Richardson, while he's a good gifted player I think this team would compare the the Clippers of 2003 if Bryant was say Magette or someone around the 80 mark.

Barbosa - isn't really a good starting PG by rating and I don't see this team getting past the current Spurs starting 5. They may have more individuals with lots of flair and ability but some key things appear to be missing to me.

You'll never win an MVP award with a lineup like that though.

Eh? This seems ideal. If you control this team yourself you can use decide who touches the ball, who takes the bulk of the shots etc.

I'd personally player lock on Kobe, I'd handle the ball more than Barbosa and control the offense, be assist leader and also fead off Stoudemire for shots.

Howard wouldn't post up much and would play as the grunt and Stoud wouldn't be that offensive unless the teams on the run.

Kobe for MVP without much trouble.

If you really want to trade for Melo and Bron I think the best way is giving up j-rich I thing that J-rich has a similar salary cap of Bron and Melo and has similar ratings... but in the first season I dont know for the other seasons...

I think you should consider trading Kobe for T-Mac who is younger and play as good as him...

But post the bench players so that we can see what you can improve during a long lasting day...

You trade S.Nash & S.Marion for Kobe???I think you should have made even better choice...Your bench wont be bery solid I think,so I guess you have to give up a starter ---probably J.Richardson I think...
