Need help, any video cards suggestions?

I recently purchased NBA Live 2005. IT's not working. heres my information, Windows xp home edition , NVIDIA Vanta/Vanta LT, SOUND MAX DIGITAL Audio. When i start NBA Live it shows a black screen then takes me back. Is there anyway to fix this. If i need to install another Video driver or anything like that does anybody have any good cards i could go out and buy. thankyou

depending on your budget; get a GF4 Ti4200, Radeon9700, Radeon9800, GF 6600GT.
