CERVANTES - Rosters v3.0 FINISHED!!! - Released

I corrected some problems of the first version, I add more players, updated allstar and rookie/sohps teams, Re-Calculated all ratings and Numbers and positions from NBA.COM. I think the ratings are great, and I added some players to the dunk contest, as Tony Allen, Trevor Ariza, Ruben Patterson, etc. Well , I hope you like them, they're so much better and complete than the first version. Post Comments or corrections for a fixed version.

PD: I also include three corrected cyberfaces of JR Smith, Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter.

I fixed the problem. But I had to "un-edit" allstar teams, because editing them caused the problem. I can release v2.1, all works well, except that the allstars are not updated. I'm working in v2.2 to edit them securely, but I have the same problem. I think crashes because salaries of allstars. I don't find the column on the database to change the salaries, can anyone help me?

Go to the NLSC's site, NBA Live 2005 section, and go to players.dbf editing and search for it. :wink:

to change the salary, u need to change the CASH_YEAR field in the players.dbf

Added 8 or 9 future rookies: Taft, Warrick, Bogut, Chris Paul, Salim Stoudamire, Marvin Williams, etc.
No edited allstar teams, because I'm working in it.
Dynasty and Season modes work.

i dont want to criticize but ...

1 ) why is artest a free agent ?
2 ) why is childress 68 while gordan is 66 and deng is 59 and so on

It's not criticize..

a) While a player is in suspension, the team doesn't pay him, and he's not in the 15 max players of the roster.

b) Childress is 68 for a simple reason, he can do lots of things. Look, I use formulas based on minutes. Childress blocks, steals, rebounds, are so high for his minutes. I like to rate the players that way, because they can give all their potential if they play more minutes. For example, Josh Howard rating was so high in default rosters because of the same reason. The new generation of rookies is very complete in lots of stats.

I think you understand this.

You could put him in the retired roster until next season. :wink:

If you place a player on the Retired Team, when you start a Dynasty he will be wiped from the database.

Well, I think is better if he's in free agents, because other gamers may like Artest, but I hate him.

OVERRATED PLAYERS OF NBA (Refering to real life): Mark Blount, Charlie Ward, Ron Artest, Jason Collins, Stephen Jackson and Andre Miller.

UNDERRATED PLAYERS OF NBA (Refering to real life): Jalen Rose, Ronald Flip Murray, Ron Mercer, Bobby Simmons, Chris Wilcox, Dajuan Wagner, etc.

What players do you think are over/under rated in real life?

I found two mistakes in my fixed rosters: :oops:

a) Chicago Bulls players have default ratings. :oops:

b) Smush Parker and Chris Duhon are with 50 in all rating categories. :oops:

Excuse me for this, I'm really sorry.

When season ends, I will calculate final ratings and apply them to this rosters, and I will create some new rookies and re-rate them like EA sports rookies.

A month later or two later, I will release a version with classic teams and all stars edited.
