Contract Length

I wanna trade a player with 4 years left on his contract for someone with 1 year left to free up cap space for the next season. But how can I know how many years left a computer controlled player has on his contract?

NM. I figured out that I have to go into Managers statement and then pick another team. Simple. A damn shame that I have to go through that whole procedure when I need to trade someone.

Yeah, it's a mistake EA made that sucks. :*(
