Flickering court?

Postby Grayson73 on Fri Mar 11, 2005 1:00 am

When I try to play NBA live 2005 on my laptop, the court flickers, but the players look fine. Anyone know how to fix?

IBM T30 Pentium 4 - M CPU 1.80 GHz
256 MB Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 16MB
Windows XP Pro

If it's the video card, how much does it cost to upgrade a laptop video card and how hard is it to do?

Yeah, your laptop will bleed playing on the court man! Check your owner's manual if there's a provision for upgrading your video card. Most of them need onsite techs if the video card isn't integrated in the mobo. Some newer laptops though now have options for upgrading the video card.

its a video card problem. if you have 64mb you can't play in the best resolution. try to have a machine with a video ram of 128 or higher (Y)

Grayson73, i'm quite familiar w/ Dell Inspirons. If my memory serves me right, the I700m has an Intel Integrated Extreme Graphics w/c doesn't have all the stuff to run the game the way you want it to be. This portable was designed for more mobility and normal office applications, given its slimmer design than it's big brothers out there.
