Draft picks etc

Can anyone tell me the reason that they have these in the game... ( I know cuz it's real life... lol) All I am saying is that in my dynasty in the 9 years I have played... No team will ever take a draft pick, which in real life happens all the time! Plus... Why can't you trade hurt players??
like phili just picked up mashburn and he's broken! .... Come on EA if u wanna keep it real then make it real!!

cpu teams usually dont trade draft picks.. but you can.. every once in a while (two months).. a team will want to trade a draft pick.. if you make an offer with this team, they might accept it..
