Just re-released v1.08 with a small correction to the Uninjured version - everything in the regular version remains unchanged from the file I uploaded a couple of hours ago.

Nice (Y)

Thanks Andrew! Anyone know a way when I install the new rosters where I can have all my jerseys, players, transferred over with the new roster update rather than manually putting them in the game again?

James,

I keep edited copies of accessory.dbf, shoesacc.dbf, sockacc.dbf and teamgear.dbf in a backup folder. These have the added shoes, unlocked equipment and added jerseys. I copy these to the updated folders whenever I do an update.

As far as players, you may be able to use cdbf lite. Many patchers used this to append new players and teams to an existing roster. Basically this runs like a script file and adds the players to a specific dbf file. NBA Live 2005 would need to append to the players and appearence files. NBALive.org used this method to add the 50's - 90's legends and some championship teams to Live 2004(see Retro section). I'll use the 89 Pistons as an example. Download the file, copy it to a temporary folder, unzip, right click the EXE file and extract it to your present location. You should now have dbf.exe, dbf.ini, dbf.nba and a BAT file. Edit the batch file with Notepad and you should be able to figure out what the file is doing. This may be harder than copying the player's data using DBCommander. If you want to copy a lot of players it may be worth the time.

I use CDBF Win and it has a command to 'append from'. I think you should be able to create a shortened version of the dbf file with all records deleted except the players you want. After updating you can append file1 to file2. As long as you don't duplicate any playerIDs this should work. You can easily add players and teams this way.

Great Work again...One Question

Did you change the Salary Cap at v.1.08? or did you change it at v.1.09?

Thank you! This was very helpful. I was thinking about the backup files and everything but I was not sure if it was going to work or not because of the different roster versions. I will try the second part about getting new players/new teams in tommorow. Again, thank you!

To Andrew and the rest of the NLSC Team, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart (And I mean that) for updating the patch with Antoine Walker playing for the Celtics, and an upgraded Tony Allen. I have a problem upgrading my own players, because I don't feel like they're accurately updated no matter what I do, it's just how I am. Now that I don't have to update anyone, I can finally play the game with my home team and not have to worry about having Tony Allen struggle to crossover around Yao Ming or throwing down the bball.

Again, thank you so much for updating the patch, it's truely awesome and I couldn't ask for much more. I'm glad you guys are so dedicated. Keep up the good work!

Best Regards,
Garrett

As LegoTP said, v1.09 is available here. If you really want to download v1.08, it's still here - though I'm not sure why you'd want an outdated roster without the latest ratings corrections. ;)
