u probably have agp, its where u connect ur video card onto your motherboard
well i hope u have agp cuz if u have pci, u would be running slower cards but if ur old card was a geforce 4, it should be agp
but i wanted to kno if u have agp 4x/8x or 2x/4x becuz im not sure on this but when i had agp 2x/4x, i was not able to run agp cards that were 8x even though i ran it lower
umm, i think u can get ur computer specs if u do start->run->dxdiag

by the way, get ur specs and tell me ur old card cuz u should be able to use lighting, i think someone in another thread had same prob as you but then updated their drivers to omegadrivers and was able to turn lighting on, try that first so you wont have to spend money

alrite, when i run the installation file it asks me to choose the type of installation. ive got to choose between 'performance' and 'quality'...do you know which one i should choose?
also do i have to reinstall live05 after installing those drivers?

Sat Feb 12, 2005 1:03 am

in your case.. go with performance.

you don't have to reinstall nba live afterwards.

aight, i tried both, 1st performance then quality, neither of them let me enable lightening...is there anything i could have done wrong or anything i could still do before getting a new card? i mean what about the other guy that had the same problem...was he able to solve it?

anyways, thanks for your help guys (Y)

no has nothing to do with it, please keep your problems in one thread. if you have that much questions it's okay to start your own thread. :)
