whats the difference between intervention and regular simulation?

reg sim you cant play the sim game. but with intervention the quarter by quarter scores flshes right between your eyes then you can press intervene then bang your in the game at the point you intervene. i like to intervene during close games or blow outs

Regular Sim - Sims the entire game.
Intervention Sim - Allows to sim quarter by quarter, giving you the option to intervene whenever you feel like it.
