foul on blocking counts as a block

I just realized that a foul while blocking counts as a block. I can't believe after so many years, stupid little stuff like this aren't even fix yet.

I know that it has happened to me alot but never knew that it counted

I have been fouled by Sheed and Big Ben came behind him and blocked my crazy shot

I just played a game after I read your post and had myself getting fouled and blocked at the same time, although he didn't get the block, just the foul.
My guess is that it depends on when you block the shot, if you foul him before the ref calls it or something like that.

it happened me mine. it was sweet.
i was using jalen rose to like defend gary payton, and he faked me out, and leaned into me for a shot, and franciso elson just comes out of no where and absolutled pounds the ball out of the court. it was a block, but payton got 2 shots and foul on rose
