Miami Heat player development issue

Fri Jan 28, 2005 9:47 pm

I was in my 4th or 5th year of my Miami dynasty and Dorell Wright suffered an injury. The injury resulted in a 6 week absence from my team. When he returned to the active roster his rating had dropped to like 56 (down from 78) - effectively ruining all the progress I had made with him and basically tainting my dynasty. Will he return to the 78 overall? Has anyone experienced a similar prob?

I've never seen that before. I don't think the overall rating is recalculated when ratings are temporarily lowered due to injuries.

nothing wrong there, it should go back to normal...

i had a similar problem with k-mart in my denver dynasty's 1st year
he was injured, he returned to the court and it took 2-3 games until
he regained his form...

so no need to worry!

Actually,go to the player edit screen, select Wright and just press DONE,doesn't matter if you change anything or not. All the minuses his statts suffered while injured are gone and his Ovr rating should get back to normal.

I got the same problem with Wade, he was out for 2 weeks. then when he was 100% recovered his rating had drop way way below his previous rating. I didnt play him even when they said he could play but he's still injured (for 5 more days). I had to edit the DBF in order o give him his original rating. :(

Wow, some very useful information here. Same goes when you train your players; you have to go to edit player and save to get the new rating of your players and your team.
