Quadruple-Double

Quadruple-Double

Postby Mikki on Wed Jan 26, 2005 6:46 am

I finally had one in my dynasty with LeBron James. It was my 2nd 82-game season. And the date is the same date today. What a coincidence. :D

Wow... I'm playing a Washington Wizards dynasty, I'm at the 30th-game mark, and I almost managed to pull off a triple double with Larry Hughes, many times...

Ive have a Quadruple Doube with Starbury

32 Points, 12 Assists , 11 Steals , 12+ FTs (J/P) , But had 10+ Rebounds on fast break points that were swatted.... Doesnt make since.

They count my shots when blocked and the opponents.

I managed to get one in NBA Live 2004, but haven't managed a Quadruple-Double in NBA Live 2005 yet. I don't think there's anyone capable on my current squad...but if I'm in the midst of a blowout victory, I might try a little stats-padding.

ive had TD's b4 but its so much more fun wen u dont try to. u kno wen ur not stat padding. its almost impossible for me to do it unintenionally... unless wit a guy like marion at PF, where he will get the 10+ boards easily, and then hes fast and leads the rbeak and sometimes i get 4+ assists in the 1st quarter. after that he doesnt get another assists, unless i intentioanally giv them to his stats

Actually players themselves to get TD's when they get a shot at it ;) Aka in halftime they have 7rebs/ast/stls (and getting steals is way too easy with NLSC realistic sliders, Im having 10 stls per game constantly with best stealers, especially on 12 minute games), they try to get the rest. When trying it, its no hard getting a TD or anything of the sorts. Its all about sliders and the type of gameplay.

I had one with Desagana Diop, 20 pts(10-11), 14 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks in 30 minutes. His rating is around the 50, but because he can block shots (i have blocks tweaked to zero btw) it makes getting QD's possible.
(in superstar mode, 10 min/q)

I used 2 cav's cast offs to star in my franchise, Diop and Wagner. Wagner (overall 53 rating ) lead the league in scoring (around 30p) and Diop in rebounding (15,3). Walter McCarthy is my second scorer

I also had a quadruple double with James, quintuple if turnovers count. Player lock on LeBron: 40/25/10(assists)/11(steals) + 12 turnovers
Oh God! I'm at least semi-literate!

Actually it's only happened 4 times in NBA history:

Nate Thurmond, Chicago v. Atlanta 10/18/74
22 pts, 14 reb, 13 ass, 12 bks.

Alvin Robertson, San Antonio v. Phoenix 2/18/86
20 pts, 11 reb, 10 ass, 10 stls.

Hakeem Olajuwon, Houston v. Milwaukee 3/29/90
18 pts, 16 reb, 10 ass, 11 bks.

David Robinson, San Antonio v. Detroit 2/17/94
34 pts, 10 reb, 10 ass, 10 bks.

Personally I've only managed one triple double with Dwayne Wade.

Tim Duncan came mighty close to a quadruple double in Game Six of the Finals. Just missed out, needed 2 more blocked shots.

Box Score.

That guy is amazing.

I had 2 triple-doubles in the Playoffs with Kidd when I've just entered the second round. And if I'm not mistaken, I got a quadruple-double with Kidd during that time 8-) : He had like 18 points, 11 rebs, 12 assists and 10 steals, while others in my team managed to get 2 steals alltogether. And guess what? My stealing and interception sliders were just about 17. And I'm playing at Superstar 9 mins.

Since then, I reduced the interception and stealing sliders to about 14.

its actually easy to steal in the game when u use lebron or players that have those lock icons.

try to press steal and play passing lanes. so easy.

blocks are easy too. so gay. o wells. even when sliders are so low. i still get blocked everytime. argh.
