HELLO HOW DO I GET MORE PASS INTERCEPCION OR STEALING

Well, if you havent tweaked your sliders and play with the default ones then steals are so easy to come by... I had people grabbing eight steals a game so I had to tweak it down big. Key to steals is timing, if the opponent passes the ball and you are in somewhat the balls way and press steal right before it gets to you, then good ratings in steals in that man calculate if he makes a good steal or just bounces the ball away. THis is to get interceptions.

To get regular steals ou need to try and grab the ball when the opposition with ball, player, is in front of your defender, and ball is not "covered", aka during dribbles and passing attempts. You can also steal the ball when he tries to pump-fake.

Steals and interceptions are all about your own reaction and timing.

Best time to get a steal is when someone just catches the ball and comes down with it

More streals? There are already to many in the game now. When I play my cousin he always telling me how she should have had this steal and that steal. I'm like just cause you can in front of a guy and press the steal button doesn't mean you should get a steal. But it's pretty easy to get a steal, though it doesn't mean you'll be getting them all the time. It's really easy to steal from someoen who stands steal for too long or doesn't move that much. I don't know why EA did this. All it does is force you to run around all the time, which itself cause a major flaw. Usually once someone stands still you can steal or if you tap it a few times they steal when they lunge out at the guy. If the person is not moving a lot you should get the steal. Also its very easy to trap and get one. When I play online guys spend half my possessions trying to double team everyone. And yes it is too easy to steal right after somoen has just caught the ball.

You could tweak your sliders for more steals, but I don't know why you'd want to do that. I tweak mine for less steals. I hope this is not preventing you from winning or playing well. You should be able to do pretty well without forcing a lot of steals.

i'm new so i dont know if this is going to the right post.but the key to getting more steals is using the freestlyle button and controling a player with a defense lock.

i play with knicks and m.norris averages about 5 steals a game off the bench.

I get too many steals...its all about timing. Position your man near the ball and press steal. Or get in between the ball and the man being passed to to intercept. Claxton leads the league every year.

When the ball is passed into the post run your defender (whoever was defending the passer) and try to steal the ball when the big man catches it.

IT is entirely too easy to steal in the post. I keep wondering why EA is so anti-post game.
