Problem in jersey retirement

Postby haayi on Mon Jan 17, 2005 7:40 pm

Help, anyone.

Have a problem with regards to jersey retirement in my NBA Live 2005. During my 2006 - 07 dynasty season with the Celts, Gary Payton has decided to hung up his jersey. However, the message in the PDA sent to me asking "Would you like to retire Payton's jersey?" has no options where you can reply a YES. There is a </> Reply: No at the bottom of the message. When I click the checkmark sign, it just shows stats of Gary Payton, and when I close the message, the options are now nowhere to be found. When I started the next season, Payton's jersey is nowhere to be found in MY NBA LIVE. I tried to do this over and over, but I still get same results; unable to retire a jersey. What is the problem?

Help.
I love Waltah!!

I don't know about the PC version, but on the Xbox there's just an option where you press the A button to retire it. Someone around here should be able to help you, unless the topic's already been brought up.

I think you have to use the < and > arrows to change your reply to yes before clicking the checkbox to confirm your choice.

The first part of the sentence has some arrows that you can press. This will change the answer from No to Yes.

You also have to save your settings, if I recall correctly.
