Alley-Oops

Sat Jan 15, 2005 6:42 am

Anybody ever discover some rare alley-oops (in-game, not Slam Dunk Contest) that you've never seen before and didnt know were in the game? Today I did a 360 alley-oop with LeBron James. He took off on one foot at the semi-circle line in the paint closest to the basket and spun 180, caught it with 2 hands, then finished at the side of the hoop with one hand. It was nice. I'd upload a gif, but I did it on my ps2. :(

I've also seen oops like that T-Mac tomohawk he always does in the game, except this time the player catches the pass behind his head and slams it down, and I've seen a one hand alley-oop similar to that dunk that players with low dunk packages and ratings have(Marbury, AI).

Any of you guys discover something ill? :D

I did the 360 one, I think alot has to do with where the player is when you throw the oop.

Not yet, but I don't have a great deal of spectacular dunkers on my team in my Bulls Dynasty.

I have done the 360 with certain players
Then there was Ben Wallace, he did a different kind of 360 off of the lob
Instead of being on the break or cutting to the basket, he was already looking for the ball right in front of the goal, the CPU alley-ooped it to him and he just jumped straight up and did a 360 and finished with 1 hand
Maybe he took just 1 step though, it wasnt really spectacular but pretty amazing at the same time
Yea there are alot of nice finishes off of alley-oops
