if ur computer is old and cant really upgrade that much, i recommend the Geforce 4 Ti4200 64 mb because that is what I am using right now and I can run the game at Maximum setting very smoothly!!!

its a good card and cheap too so thats my opinion :D

yup, at first i didnt run it at 1280x1024, i ran it at 1024x768 but i just tested it and it still runs extremely smooth, so thats awesome for me cuz i can run it maximum and no lagging at all!!!

You wonder why the Ti's are so strong? Here are the facts:

GeForce 4 Ti 4200:

Fill Rate (Anti-Alias Sample/Sec): 4.0 Billion (the fill rate of a GeForce 6800)
Vertices/Sec: 113 Million
Memory Interface: 128 BIT DDR

The GeForce 4 Ti Series Ti's are actually priced double than their GeForce 4 MX relatives. GF 4 Ti's are better than the GF FX 5200-5600 Ultra series, except that they're not built for DirectX 9.

In the end, the move from a non-DX9 to a DX9 compatible graphics card (GeForce 4 Ti series and the GeForce FX and 6 series) is up to you. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. It just depends on you, the buyer as to how you will balance PERFORMANCE and BUDGET.

could you post a pic of an ingame situation? I'm sorry but I find it very hard to believe that that card can run Live05 @ max setting and high res.

this is a pic of my nba live. I'm using a Athlon 64bit 3200+, 1024MB DDR400 and a Geforce FX5900, running the game @ max settings and 1280x1024 (my lcd doesn't support higher).
