Dear Andrew!

How about:
a.) Changing player's size/weight
I always set my player's size at his height with shoes. That means:
-KB is 6'7''/230
-KG is 7'1''/240 (he said that this is his height on many occassions)
-Darko is 7'1''/265
-J.R. Smith is 6'7/225
-Andre Iguodala is 6'7
-Kirk Hinrich is 6'4
-Vince Carter is 6'7/225
-Joe Johnson is 6'8
-Jonathan Bender is 7'1/240
-Tyson Chandler is 7'2/235
-Ben Gordon is 6'2
-Ben Wallace is 6'8
-Tayshuan Prince is 6'10
-Andris Biedrins is 7'0
-T-Mac is 6'9
-Bostjan Nachbar is 6'9
-Luke Walton is 6'9
-Nesterovich is 7'1
-Kirk Snyder is 6'7
-I read it somewhere that Kwame grew an inch and gained a couple of pounds, too.
...
b.) Doing something with stamina
A lot of potential franchise players (or at least future starters) have lousy stamina ratings. Sophomores (Darko) and rookies...
c.) Modify destiny rating
Put LeBron at 1, Darko at 0, Sasha Vujacic at 1,... Just read any of scouting reports and learn about player's potential.
d.) Change Beno Udrih into a monster.
I really like this guy. I mean, he looks like Steve Nash all over again. But in Live? His speed/quickness ratings are in 60'. C'mon... Same goes with Kirk Hinrich.

And merry Christmas.

1. Sorry, I prefer to go by the heights and weight listings at nba.com. If any have changed, I'm happy to change them accordingly.

2. That's something I'll do with the mass ratings update.

3. Something else I can do with the large update in the new year (note: that update isn't coming New Year's Day, but sometime early in the new year).

4. I'll review his ratings along with everyone else, but I won't make him one of the best players in the league, because he is far from it.

Well, around 60 overall would be cool .

BTW, about another Slovenian player - Primoz Brezec. His main strenght is his jumpshot but his field goal rating is pretty low in the game.

Merry post Christmas :).

Hey Andrew... for guys like Nash who don't shoot a lot... if you gave him a high shot rating, but lowered his primacy, would that make the computer play him more realistically? or would he not touch the ball much at all?

It usually evens out pretty well. Point guards have much lower primacy ratings this year, which works out a little better. Guys like Nash don't have the top primacy rating on the team, but do have excellent field goal ratings. It seems to be a good solution, so that's what I'm continuing to do with the rosters.

hmm... also.. with teams that don't play much of their roster such as the Suns or the Lakers who only use 3 or 4 bench players, could you edit the secondary position and fatigue numbers so that it could reflect the teams sub-patterns?

I've done that in v1.04, but I'm sure I could make a few tweaks to improve them so by all means suggest corrections. (Y)

Good work on the 1.04 patch Andrew. The only thing is the extremely high shooting percentages I'm getting from the computer team. Whatever team I play, the computer is shooting 50%-60%
Especially if I play against a team like the sonics or the kings. Ray Allen or Stojakovic will nail every single shot even if I have a defender on him jump. Do you get this kind of thing when you play? and obviously the high shooting % will decrease the number of rebounds too...

I haven't experienced it yet, at least no more so than with the default ratings or v1.03. I did increase field goal ratings and did boost some of the top scorers a little, but I didn't bump up Allen or Peja's ratings too much.

Mad handle, I think you need a lil bit more of D and reaction there, since I have no problems... Have you checked your sliders? Id recommend the sliders that came with Andrews patch, but I personally prefer 45 for speed and lower steal rating for user.

How do you defend? Because it seems even if I'm in the shooters face, jumping and contesting, Peja or Ray Allen will still nail the shot easily, and end up having 70% fg%. The bench players will usually miss these contested shots though.
