EA & ESPN together, sounds great, but maybe not. We all agree the best features of the ESPN game are the graphics and the commentary but EA has been (over the last years) removing many good stuff like the Create a team option, Save in game option, and so on. So nobody guarantees they'll take the best of each game to make a brand new better game, they could leave us with only a single option (while now we have 2, I don't really take into consideration the other basketball games, come on, nobody can play that kinda stuff for more than a few minutes) and force us to play NBA Live 2005 forever.
ESPN is catching up EA game because EA crew is focuing too much into stupid details instead of focusing in what really matters. Now we can dunk but we can't save, we have too much ruzzle-dazzle but passing is wortheless and useless, we have better graphics but I'm still waiting for a real fastbreak play without Shaq catching up Iverson at midcourt. I don't like ESPN game, I rather stay with my NBA Live 2005 even with all its failures, but I'm worried about the way EA is going, NBA Live 2005 is a lot beeter than 2004 in many ways, but still there are a lot of features to improve and a few more to bring back like the forementiones options.
