This game is awesome!

I just got my own version of NBA LIVE 2005, BUT for my xbox. I had a freind borrow me his for PC but i hadn't actually played ANY games, all i did was dunk contest and 3-point shootout. My freind then took it back that day, i really didn't experience the actual 5-5 in GAMEPLAY, Well what can i say?, The first things i noticed straight off were;

-The computer plays amazing help defense.

-The Added new animations (Push-off, inbound turn, jump to catch etc)

-The new shooting style (Well i knew it changed from the 3-point shootout.
(It did take me a while to get used to shooting with itin 5-5 i like the sideline cam with zoom out so i can see the whole floor, but it was very hard to see the peak of my jump so i was clanking. I have mastered it now.

-Also at the end of one of the quarters, i got Kobe the ball, a player got up in his face i tried to shoot, but the computer smothered me (New Animation) and i couldn't shoot. I thought that was really cool.

That new tip-in thing took a while for me to get used to, i u turned offensive rebounding down though, because i think it was easy to abuse.

Overall the 5-5 gameplay is not what i expected, i didn't even bother playing it when my freind brought the game round, i didn't know what i was missing. Well i searched through the dynasty mode and started one today im current;y 0-3 with lakers, is it me or is this year HARD????
Last year i would have to LET the CPU "accidentally" score so it would be competitive, now IM the one fighting to stay in it.

This is going to be so cool trying to make the play-offs with this tough schedule and tougher CPU, and unlike 2004, 2005, leaves me wanting more!

Peace.

I find that I'm enjoying the game the more I play it. As I said in my review my first impression of 5 on 5 wasn't too great but when I got used to some of the new animations and player behaviour and tweaked the sliders to adjust some of the gameplay elements I felt were unrealistic, I found that NBA Live 2005 delivered the game I was hoping for. That's not to say that it's perfect and no improvements can be made, but I too am having a lot of fun with Live 2005 in my current Dynasty.

I would be further along but I'm much busier with work this year. NBA Live 2005 has also had to share time with GTASA and Pirates.

This game does indeed rock but it is sharing time with my busy life and right now, no other games.

Andrew, what is the pirates game all about?
