NBA LIVE 2005 Patch #1

This patch has the following fixes/improvements

1. Fixed not being able to see a player's statistics on the substitution screen
during a game.

2. Fixed the ability to Save Game stats from the in game pause menu
for online and exhibition games.

3. Fixed issue in dynasty mode with player stats not carrying
over into the next season properly.

4. Fixed issue where the last saved roster was not being saved so that it would
load into the game at startup.

5. Improved art for all shoes in the game.

Yeah, the only patch...get rid of the #1. You know they won't make any more.

EA sucks and should improve a whole lot more than this...

Like I said, EA sucks, there is so much more like profile stuff that could've solved issues like that.

I will not download this patch, because it doesn't fix anything that I think needs to be fixed. Those couple of stats mess-ups I can live with

this patch wont work if you have an illegal version correct

how do u know if the patch was successfully installed?
it said patch installed but I don't know if it really did in the game
and do i have to start the whole dynasty over in order to make those patch work in my dynasty?

hmm i installed it and it said patch installed too but when i fire up the game and play on my dynasty, i see no change???

Keep getting javascript errors when trying to install the patch. Any other locations to get it from?

will this mess up anything in my current dynasty, or would i have to start a new one?

I hear there are some bugs with this patch
game crashes,stats being saved to unknown directories
stats making game crash etc.
I beleive that this is going to be the first of many patch updates

This patch stinks. They could of at least fixed the camera zooming.

i went to the game after installing this patch and i saw no changes
i was thinking about re-installign the whole game but i didn't want to
do that since i'm almost through with my 1st yr of dynasty ( played all games 12 min. quater)
hm... I didn't even know there was a problem with the stats not properly transfering to the next year of dynasty
so i tested it out and all the rookies stats weren't displaying on the players stats section. hm..............
so what should i do? ((((

At least they made it posssible to save stats during online play, hopefully as previus people said the crashes were just a one off thing.

You can backup your save game file and then reinstall the game, once reinstalled paste the save game into my documents/nbalive 2005/saves.

We still can't save our usernames, and there's no playcalling improvements? Not a single gameplay fix? This patch fixes very, very little.

Usernames were removed altogether this year anyway, even in console versions. Oh well, EA is EA.
