199x' Season Custom Teams

Hi guys,
I'm new to all this patching stuff and i got some questions ...
Is ist possible to create players and all the teams of an ancient nba season ?
I mean, not in the game but with editors and stuff.
I got lists, names and stats of all former nba seasons and i will start with the 96'er season, but i won't create all players in the game !
The problem i got is, that i don't want to create cyberfaces for all players.
Is there a tool to create player faces like in the game ?
i think this will be faster than creating every face with the ingame editor.
