Items bought at NBA store not accessible in edit players

The stuff I have bought at the NBA store can not be worn by edited players or created players. When I go back to the store, it says the item (eg shoe) is unlocked. What is my problem?

The practice jerseys etc that I have unlocked are accessible. Just not the shoes or accessories.

i found that my jerseys, nor shoes, nor accessories unlocked in the NBA store can be used anywhere in the game. Can someone please help, because I really want to access these items.

You need to save your settings after unlocking stuff, and then when you have to load the settings when you wish to use them. Always load the settings...

How do you manage to load the settings? In the save/load menu, there is only a "save settings" option.

I believe it loads whenever you start up your game. So always save your settings, doesn't matter if you’re in a dynasty or just changing the rosters, save your settings and they should be loaded when you start the game up.
