adding self into game

can someone explain to me how i add myself into the game, like so i can Draft myself in future drafts????

You cant make yourself to be in the draft (in PC i think so)
But in case you are using PS2 you can just create yourself and be placed in the FA's and then sign yourself when you start a Dynasty or whatever

If you play for PC then someone will have to explain it for you

Drafting yourself can be done in pc. but you got to edit the player.dbf. i'm still waiting for a reply from cocobe, he knows how to do it.

the other guys answered for how to put yourself into the first (fantasy) draft. they were right- just create yourself. but i think you mean for an upcoming draft after a dynasty season, so here you go:

pretty easy stuff here. this is my way to do it- which is a bit easier than creating the entire thing from scratch. if you want to do it the 'other' way (creating all the dbf values yourself).....go for it, i can't help you there.

you can either wait to do this until the off-season, or save, and then sim ahead to the offseason (just so you can scout their appearance beforehand).

go into rookie scouting (in the off-season calendar). see some of the best prospects, and choose the one that is most like you (Race, skills, etc- even though these CAN be changed later, this is the easiest way). Write down his name.

Exit out of the game and fire up your DBF editor. Your guy will be near the bottom of the list, simply change his name. Say, if his name was John Smith before, and you want him to be Sexy Aussie, then change "John" to "Sexy" and "Smith" to "Aussie". Save the DBF. Done and done.

You can edit height/ratings/etc now, but I find it's easier to do after the player is already drafted, and you're in the next season. Same thing with applying a cyberface- just wait until the regular season.

If you want to insure that you get to draft yourself to YOUR OWN team, just wait to do all this until after the draft, and change the guy that you drafted
