Transfering players from one Dynasty to another, dbf questio

I've just started a new dynasty, and I want to transfer 2 players from my old dynasty into the new one. I just tried, but got a codebase error and crash of the game. What is the simplest way for me to transfer these players? (I would prefer to have them appear on an actual team so I can trade for them, rather than in the free agent pool).

one is a PG, the other a C.

EDIT: I realize that it would have been much easier to do before the Dynasty started, but I didn't think that this would be a dynasty I wanted to continue with, I was just messing around. But now, I'm actually going to replace my old dynasty with this one.

The easiest way would probably be to open the two DBF files in DB Commander, add new rows to the Dynasty's databases and manually copy the data over referring to the other roster file. Remember that you have to alter players.dbf and appearance.dbf for the players to show up correctly.
