When is EA gonna do a roster update?

Is EA gonna update the rosters on 05, like they do on Madden? Game has been out 2 months and no roster update. What's the deal EA?

No, I'm talking about the default updates that came with the game. NLSC
updates won't work online. This is for PC, not Xbox or PS2. Madden updates rosters for PC every month or so, and they work online. Andrew's won't. Tried it already, it always loads the default for online play.

Make sure BOTH players have the same roster loaded, and it should work. I'm 99% sure that I played a game online with a guy using our fantasy draft teams. The other 1% possibility there is that maybe it was the last game I played online with 2004, but I really think it was 2005. Could be wrong. If this is true- I'm glad EA finally implemented that feature to have to use official rosters online (so cheaters can't cheat as easily), but they should provide updates if they're gonna do that. Bums

On easo, they play with default rosters. On direct connect, any roster works

You need an Internet Adaptor for PS2
Plug in the Ethernet cord, or dial-up cord and go online
When you enter the main online screen a pop-up will come up asking if you would like to download the new roster update
You do know how to get online from there dont you?

he's asking cuz they won't work on EA online for some reason. though why you would need updated rosters if you're just going to play the cheap cheaters on EA online is beyond me

1. Are we just talking bout PCs or can you share rosters on consoles online?
2. I can understand when nothing is going on, but when you have major trades that totally change teams like the Carter trade EA should be updating rosters.

YEah I got Live but the rosters I downloaded today ain't up to date. Cater still plays for Raptors. Rush still plays for Lakers. Lue still plays for Rockets. Come on EA.

This is my first time playing on Live, but when I used to play online on PC they used to update rosters all the time for Madden and other games.

EA has alot of other things to worry about too
Maybe they should hire some kind of "Roster Update Team" that makes them up to date and more frequently than usual

Well obviously they're not taking care of the other things they have to worry bout either. This is just ridiculous considering big tades of marquee players has taken place recently

They are trying their best to take care of the other things as far as I know of, it is their job the last time I checked
They are currently working on NBA Live 06' and trying to make it so much better than 05'
So just be patient
Yes I understand it is hard to be patient for so long, but if all else fails then just make the changes yourself

Patients is one thing but this is not something that should take that long. Hope they have sense enough to do it around trade deadline time.
