EYES, EYES and EYES!

I've been patching for awhile now..but for some reason in Live 2005--I can't seem to get my eyes straight? There either too high or too low and they look weird ingame. It's like theres the eye and another eye is growing underneath it. 
What are some of your techniques for the eyes? Do you guys cut and paste them, just straight line them up or it there anything else?

Make the top layer 60% transparent so you can line up the eyes. Zoom in if you have to.
