ok ok ok. let's say it, it's a good game. since 95 it's been a good game. thouuuuuugh....
some things are just toooo irritating, i need u to tell me i'm not (thaat) crazy, tell me u've experienced the same.. . :

1. so last year it was too easy to block 3pts.. so seems sensible that EA corrected it.. BUT DAMN WHY IN THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE WAY ??????...
it has become useless to try to defend. if you're completely on the shooter and even jump in his face, the CPU will make it.... 50% of the time.... (of course when i shoot wide open i cant make them.. 30%. )
i wont raise blocking slider, it gonna be just impossible to score inside..
always good for a laugh to see tinsley making a 3 when ostertag jumps right aboooove him......

2. is it me or it's getting nearly impossible to get an offensive board ?!? i get boxed out (ok) or just pushed as i'm jumping for it.. (not ok..)

3. it seeeeems to me it's always the same scenario :
A. the CPU wants me to lose. point. so i'm missing wide open shots, bet blocked all the time when i'm going for a dunk, CPU is shooting 60% (FG AND 3pts.. )
B. I'm allowed to win... so cpu is missing every single dumb shot, and, oh miracle, they make them all in the third (including with 3 defenders all over the shooter....) so i'm just up 10 points in the 4th............... bizzarrrrrre.. then of course it ends up in a free throw fiesta.......
IT SEEMS TO ME IT'S THE NEW WAY EA IMPLEMENTED CHEATING. .....


i've got many more grippes but.. let's keep training first...

well it IS a LOT harder for offensive rebounds..duno why... , I mean, its not TOO hard for the tip, but its hard to actually pull the ball down for an offensive board!

how ?!?... by chance or special technique ?... getting around defender ?? (I'm usually boxed out.. and when i jump beside the defender, HE gets the ball everytime..)

me too plus about the 3 point shooting, that doesnt happen for me
i mean every now and then they make it but not 50% of the time plus the fg percentage at the end of the games for me for both me and computer is usually 35%-48%

yeah offensive boards are hard to get.

That's one thing I hate. I jump straight up for a rebound, then someone behind me jumps up and pushes my guy out of the way for the board.

i get off. boards all the time. in fact, i think too many sometimes.
blocking isn't too big of a problem on the outside, mostly inside.


for rebounds, make sure you time your jump and box out.

Have you heard of "sliders"?

well i had the offensive boards on 100 and defensive boards on 0 and i still couldnt get boards off a jumper

i'm beginning to think that your copy of the game was faulty, bestclubowner. because i know you know how to play this game, and if you honestly had the slider to 100 and couldn't get a damn board, then your game was messed up.

i think you're just trying to put down 2005 in any way you can. i suppose offensive rebounding is "EASY AND SO MUCH FUN OMFG!!!11!!!" in NBA Live 2003, right?!?

Offensive rebounds are easy. When you're shooting, and the ball is in midair, immediately switch to the player closest to the basket and try to maneuver your way for position.

Exactly what i do and i get a lot, it's easy.
A thing i've noticed though is that the cpu now gets offensive rebounds or at least they try a tip-in this year.
Try grabbing rebounds yourself, you won't get many with the cpu.
