Who's Hot & Who's Not!

Sun Nov 07, 2004 7:35 pm

Has anybody noticed the huge difference with the hot streaks this year?. The biggest change is that the whole team can get hot together, sometimes a team will automatically start a game already hot. You can tell by the tone of the colour icon. It can change very very quickly as well, you can go from hot to cold within a couple of offenses and vice versa.
Has anybody noticed that the EA icon above the little status thingy(score & time) gleams from time to time, anybody know what this is?

Agreed. I remember the good old days when they told you how the hot streak worked (back when the game manual actually explained stuff, but I digress). The old rule was three shots made in a row which are not dunks or layups and the guy is "hot". To lose it, two shots would have to be missed.

Normally i would agree....
But i have seen it often during Dynasty play, its clear as the icon colour of the whole team gets hot together, where as last year it was just 1 icon on 1 player, when i get around to it i will take some Screenshots for comparison. Whether the team is actually on fire or not, the icons definitely all change colour together and the little EA box gleams from time to time(im not sure what this is though) and at the start of some games all the icons are the lighter blue(hot) colour then turns to the darker blue, which would mean that the whole team is hot at the start of the game.
