Xbox roster update question

Postby Stonecold on Sat Nov 06, 2004 12:07 pm

Is there a way to get a roster update without xbox live. I only have 56kbps dial up connection. Thank you so much.

I think the problem is not your 56k (unless you want to play online), the real problem is that you have to pay for the service, which is a shame. I mean....you shouldn't be charged for an update when you have already paid so much for the game.

couldn't someone who has updated the rosters just copy the udata (or somethin like that) folder to their conmputer, zip it up and put t on the net.,... i think that might work.. as far as i know that is where all game saves are.. trble is finding the game folder.... i think hehe

ok after playin around with my xbox i think i have found a way for us to exchange rosters and settings and things like that.

1. hook your xbox up to your computer using an ftp program
2. find your nba live folder on xbox (mine was E:/UDATA/45410038)
In this folder are other folders, one for each save.
I think if youi save rosters in the game, then exit and replace the newly created roster file with one you have downloaded from someone else
that this shold update the rosters.

its hard to explain but hopefully you get what i mean. i will test this some more and let you know.
