Damn it aint easy scoring in Live this year!!!! and thats wat makes me wanna play this game more. The fact cpu players switch and help each other on defense makes it even more challenging.
Some ppl dont like to work for their shots and just hoist shots with the star player but in LIVE 2005, AI reacts to that n start double teaming thus forces u to play TEAM basketball which the good nba teams exhibit.
I'm really loving this game and Cpu defence is just great.Tru say sometimes I get cheesed when playing with defensive teams like DETROIT. Anyone who plays on superstar level can agree with me that art imitates life in terms of the D that defensive teams like Detroit and their likes play.
When it comes to offense, u dont guard a cpu player(good shooter) and u get burned.Dynasty Mode in Live 2005 makes feel like I ran the shit in the game except for the cheesy owner(y cant I own the team) who sends mails but I like that Pda feature(great).
Overall this game has gotten to a true simulation of the nba and its just gonna get get better as years pass. Agree or disagree?Lemme know your thoughts.

I agree that it's more difficult this year in part to the very good defensive AI that EA programmers made, but there are several other factors that make the "defense" more difficult such as our inability to make complex playcalls, our slow passing (which allows the defense to rotate faster), and the slow freestyle dribbles (which hinders our ability to drive past players). On top of that, any shot you take can easily be blocked. It's not just the AI are good this year, but we've been severely limited in mobility. Read my review if you want more detail.

But when I'm on defense, the AI on offense are smarter and they know how to find the open man well, not to mention they can shoot well.

i am 6 games into my dynasty now and i play with 12 minutes. thats plenty of time to get a feel for a game. now i definetly have a few complaints about the game but only 2 are from a gameplay perspective. 1 being the insane amount of blocks and 2 EA still not letting us fast break. so what if they removed the speed cheat(btw i think they halved it not removed it) they made animations to make up for this by forceing our players to stop and pause with the ball.

being said as i play each game i find myself falling in love with this game. infact i will probably take my dynasty alot deeper this year(deeper meaning longer) cause i like it so much. my biggest complaint is not really whats wrong, its that they let this stuff go out. any idiot can see that its wrong and they just left it that way. now if you ask me that just shows you what a company is really about.

Well I understand the fastbreak problem but I think it will be fixed and also about the blocks, its just insane and hopefully they fix it next year. In the mean time, all LIVE fans just have to love this game the way it is.At least it comes closer and way closer to the real NBA than 2K5 does.

Too well, I would say. :)
In a game I played with IND vs. SEA (CPU), Ray Allen, A. Daniels & Ronald Murray killed me with 3's -- with CPU's Long Range Shooting set to 35... :?
