Problems with Wingman Cordless gamepad (PC)

Postby tomswaelen on Tue Nov 02, 2004 7:14 am

I''m talking about the dunk contest. I have some of the dunk modifier buttons to the four triggers on the gamepad. Yet, when I (try to) use them, nothing happens. Or am I using the dunk modifier buttons wrong? When or how should I use them? Now I am trying to use them in conjunction with the dunk buttons... (holding a dunk modifier button while pressing a dunk button)

I just hold the modifier down the whole time
Before I press any other button and until I release all the others
Just a habit for me, and it works

One dunk modifier button works now, which is very strange... It's not a button problem, I've tested them in Windows...

Two different profiles is a good idea, I'll try that...

Or can I see screenshots of your dunk and game profiles? Maybe some buttons are conflicting in my profiles...

It still does not work like it's supposed to, although now I can do Michael Jordan's ball-in-1-hand 8-figure dunk... Do some modifier buttons only work with certain dunk buttons? Or would you mind e-mailing your configuration files (game and dunk profiles) to me (tomswaelen@hotmail.com)? Normally they're in

C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Windows account name]\My documents\NBA LIVE 2005\configs

did you try the modifier buttons in the 3-pt shootout ?

if it works there, it should work in the dunk contest too.

Hmm, the buttons don't work in the 3-point shootout? The buttons do work in regular games though, and in Windows XP too. I'm going to try deleting all the other profiles in the folder...
