same here.. musta installed new drivers a few times and nothing...

2.1 gHz AMD Athlon XP processor 2800+
512MB DDR SDRAM
ATI RADEON IGP 320M (not sure about this card, but I got this comp in May, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem)

I think it has to do with something about the intro video... is there any way you can bypass the intro video?

Just bought this game today and I was just disappointed when it wouldn't run... :x

Well u guys might wanna check wheather your hardaware video accelaration is completely enabled cause live says they require it.If not the game is bound to crash.

What is your Catalyst version and what is your GPU (a 9500 pro or 9700 pro)?

Usually it is a driver error that causes this type of crash but it could also be this:

Your GPU could have overheated. What is your PSU? You need at least 350W for a 9700 Pro. I recommend a 400W to insure stability.

I have catalyst version 4.10... and how do you find the GPU? Sorry, I've never really been too knowledgable when it comes to graphics cards...

EDIT: Ok I uninstalled old ATI drivers from Add/remove programs list and reinstalled new ones... and NBA Live 2005 runs!!! :D
