NBA 2005 - very nice game

i played it a little now, and its quite a nice game thats improved from 2004, but my only concearn are about, when u started a league
in NBA live 2005, theres no create a player , so your stuck with your original player,
thats really really bad, cause if i start a NBA league now, and there show up some new guy, or if some retired player makes a comeback,
i will have to start over a whole new league, alternative just keep on playing without them, thats sucks.

But there is a create a player in NBA 2005, but not in the already started league, but it were that in NBA 2004, why cant it never be perfect, why do they have to take out that feature?

IMO, Live 2005 takes out a lot of good features from 2004.

such as the missing "Sort" buttons, simplified "Playbook", user profiles, keyboard acessing the menu, etc...

are you referring to creating players in a dynasty that has already begun, or an online nba league?

referring to dynasties, in live 2004, once you start a dynasty, you can't create new players. only BEFORE starting the dynasty (i.e., in the beginning setup screen) you can set your rosters (which may include creating players), put them on teams and then proceed to the dynasty setup. i just checked. therefore, this feature is the same in both, 2004 and 2005.

I ve played several 1000 of NBA game, since NBA 98
i bought 98,99,00,01,03,04,05

And I always played the season mode, i hate dynasty mode
cause season mode is up to date with hopefully real roster
but dynasty mode after a while get real screwed up with
rosters thats have just nothing to do with up to date,
the cpu, transfer players and so do the player until
theres no similarity of the real season.

And onlines league maybe fun for relaxation, but for me i play my buddys and Cpu in seson mode, thats my cup of tea.

But in all the other NBa at least 2004 you could create
a player in season mode, so if there was a new guy, i just created him
in the middle of the season, but now your stuck with your starting
players of the team + the free agent, between them their
you could change after will, or prefelby, when a real transfer is in progress
you change that in the game too.

oh, i see. well, i usually don't play season, just dynasty, but i can see where your coming from. you might want to email ea and tell them about it. they may come out with a patch to fix this (and several other) problems. (btw - i've been playing nba live since 95 and have PURCHASED them all). hope that helps.

Man, I wish you had spent at least one more on it, just to make 2004's Dynasty mode a bit better....
