Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

This is a Saitek P880. It has 10 buttons, two analog sticks, and a gamepad. It'll work well with Live 2005. Plus it was only $20.

Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analog 3

I have the Saitek P2500. It works well, nice grip, sturdy - the only thing is that I would have preferred to have the 4 triggers on top like the PS2 controller, rather than 2 on top and 6 face buttons. With 4 triggers its much easier to access combos - the Thrustmaster Firestorm 3 might be a better choice.

Firestorm Dual Power (same as the Analog 3, but has FF).

I have an Gemini Axis Pad, it's really gay, I don't recommend it to anyone.

2 Logitech Dual action pad's. Purchased for about $20 US each a couple days ago.
PS2 layout so friends don't complain about my 'weird controllers.'
4 face buttons, 4 triggers, 2 analog's with buttons, a d-pad, and two other 'start' style buttons.

Logitech Wingman Cordless
great controller!

Ugh.. what a bad controller.
You bought it a couple days ago? Well mine went bad like everyone else's after about 6 days, so I wonder how long it will be till yours screws up?
I use a PS1 controller.

Mine lasted for a while (20-22 months) but then the d-pad lost responsiveness. Also the analogs are very uncomfotable to use for motion since they curve in instead of out. If you know what I mean.

I've had mine for a while ( maybe a year or sumthin, 18 months ) and it's still fine. I know what you mean though, with the analogs, but I got used to it.

i love the Dual Action. i've had mine for months. never had a problem. i use it for MVP 2005, NHL 2004/2005, nba live 2004. The firestorms on the other hand have gone bad on me twice.
i used to use a ps2 controller but i tried 2 different adapters and none of them made the right analog stick work properly. They also felt laggy.
i don't think i'm gonna bother with Live 2005 for PC this year though. i'm totally happy with the xbox version.

oh yes, you remind me that the D-pad is very very NOT sensitive. I have to press so many times for calling a quick play (in NBA Live).

PS2 controller. I find it great.

Your playcalling thing reminded me of something else. In madden I couldn't hot route a streak or hook (up and down) or change individual assingments and whatnot or anything else that involved pressing up or down.
Controller seems fine so far, it's cheap enough to pick up another one if it breaks in a year or whatever.

i got the same controller. Had it for 6 months and it works perfect. I love it cos it's exactly like a PS2 controller

Lucky you. I used to have that controller for less than a month, and the analog stick became jittery and moved by itself. I bought my friend one at the same time I bought mine, and he got the same problem as well. I go to a Logitech message board, and turns out the majority had the same problem. Only a few people got ones that work well.

PS2 controller via USB adapter.
I do have the Thrustmaster one aswell but i think the analogues are too stiff and the D-pad is pretty unresponsive.
PS2 one has been good for me...cant wait for 05 now.
