I think they said somewhere that the PC version is actually a port of the consoles... :( Or maybe it's to spice up some things.

Wouldn't be surprised, especially since EA's profit lies within the consoles market. But, the PC users are the true hardcore fans of the game.. we deserve better.

They have to port it to PC and work on the better graphics... They have to make it work with the higher resolutions... Also the User interface will hopefully be fixed so that we can once again bene

Also they will make a new roster update for the PC as they've always done.

That's why it will be a little more late. They make the game primarily for the consoles and it's just doing wrong to us PC players. The user interface is the one that suffers the most and thus the game could be more usable with ease than it is. This was especially evident with Live 2003. You can especially see this with the roster screen... You can't see all of the 15 players you have on the roster...

Damn shame... Hopefully they will make it better... This time around.

well the new rosters are BS and ppl dont care about that 1 of the major reasons that the pc game is always a month late is cause there is no competition on the PC for NBA games they have the monopoly so they can just take it easy and dont have to be concerned about releasing it at a specific time.

Quit yer whining guys. Get the Xbox version AND the PC version later. :D

Seriously, the fact that it's probably a console port make sense. If you have a problem with it, go recruit enough PC players to make it worth their while to get the PC version out earlier. Heck, I wouldn't wait to release the console versions just to the PC version out at the same time if I were them.

Of course I can say all this because I did get the Xbox version.

To spice things up ??? is that the reason for the delay??

Well I didnt see the same results from Madden 2005. They were advertised features missing in the PC version and not the consoles.

Thanks.

yeah im tired of waiting the PC version year after year but there is no competitor on the PC version that's why we PC gamers had to wait longer than the console :?

to be honest. the main reason why we have to wait is cause there is no other basketball game worth thinking about on the pc. this allows EA to build the game for the console and work on porting it to pc at a later date. if in a year or so another pc basketball game comes out and challenges live you will see them develope both the console and pc versions together but until then us pc users will constantly have to wait.

i usually buy the console version, and then the PC version when it comes out. This year i don't think i'll need to though. the xbox version is sweeeeet. And with live, the roster updates are available when you log in.

Yes, I got it for PS2 and am capable of it too.

The thing I see this year between last year with the roster downloads is that they can put in a cyberface far as I know(Livingston).

it would be sweet if we found a way to format the consoles versions, like make our own roster updates and whatnot so we could do whatever we want.

I think the late release date of PC versions of NBA LIVE is a blessing in disguise because for the reason that the PC will have the more accurate roster as well as packages like a hidden team!...just like the NBA LIVE 2004 where in they have the SPANISH national team!...ain't that great
