WOOT! i got it today, i like it, the new dunks are tight as shit, although i have only played it for like 15 min as of now, in practice mode, and the dunk contest is kinda hard at first, but i can see how i will get the hang of it

i cant get it till sometime in october too since i used the money i had today to get nhl 05 for ps2 seeing as ebgames didnt have nba live 05 in today but oh well whenever i get it ill be playing it alot.

everything on the game is completely off the hook, especially the dunk contest shit, as soon as u get a hang of it....man its so good

i just now started my dynasty, wit the lakers , but not cuz i like them, just cuz of kobe but anyway

the gameplay is really nice, a little to slow for my liking but i adjusted the sliders to how i play the game, i give it a 10, fuck all that 8.9 shit

How is the CPU AI? Do you find the AI very challenging but not cheating?

and yes the AI is better, i was playin the nuggets, and i saw how they tried to make sure melo touched the ball, so the star player will get his share of shots, i am really like how there isnt that force field bullshit either

Do not buy it! You won't be able to play it on your European PS2, it will enter that "Please insert a Playstation 2 format disc" screen. European PS2 is PAL format, which means it can only use PS2 software which has a "PAL" on the top right side of the box.

Canada and U.S.A are NTSC U/C format, so you can't play the game. Japan, HongKong and Taiwan are NTSC J, it's another different format (NTSC J format NBA Live 2005 isn't released until Dec, which is a really bad news for fans in Asia).

EA is a strange company. They release console versions a month before on almost every game. They took out features from PC version which comes a month later.

because they make the game for xbox first, then translate it to other consoles and then to pc, which makes the game on pc pretty weak technically

NBA Live is being done in canada but canadains get it after US.

that's not a surprise everything is released first in US

yea, im having a pretty good time, playin wit kobe, as a matter of fact

in my 1st game against the jazz, arroyo hit a jumper to put them up 88-86 wit 1.2 seconds to go, i called a timeout, inbounded the ball to kobe, shot up the 3 and....


nothing but net.....lakers win, game over
