Any thoughts??? I thought I would bring the main Live demographic into the mix on what you guys think.

For me, I still hate that on default, subs are set to user zero and fatigue is also set to zero...

I think EVERY person changes that but i dont think you can do it for online games...

i don't get how they could rate ginobili at 71. maybe it has to do with him he being a sixth man last year.

Duncan is rated 89 and Garnett is rated 97! Well that settles the Garnett vs. Duncan argument, I guess.

Hmm, I thought I read somewhere you couldn't edit Primacy. But in one of the screenshots it shows you can.

They don't make the ratings as position specific as they should, so they're all based on overall skills.
They make it that being a good rebounder as a center is better than being a good passer, and being a good blocker as center is better than being a good steals, but it's not as much as it should be, I hope they change this in the future.

KG has skills for basically every position which gives him a high rating.

Notable Changes

Payton 81 to 70
T. Prince 51 to 65
LB James 69 to 83
C Anthony 63 to 80
Randolph 57 to 71
Webber 86 to 77
R. Miller 61 UP to 64
Cassell 70 UP to 72
Shaq = same 92 despite lower stats last year
Duncan 91 to 89, is his game already in decline?7
Iverson 86 to 85, a little early decline?
Kidd 89 to 85
Richardson 71 to 78
Jefferson 67 to 75
Kobe 97 to 94
Tmac 92 to 90
Walker 76 to 80!
J'Oneal 85 to 84, I thought he would at least stay as good.
Okafor is a whooping 70
D howard a whooping 69
Rod Strickland 58 UP to 60
K Gill 59 UP to 62
Ray Allen 83 to 86
Olden Polynice is here. 47 rating

From what I've seen, MY GRIZZLIES ARE STACKED! and thats without Swift  The Heat are sorry...Dalembert is rated 53  Nets suck as expected.

I have now looked at all the ratings and it looks like the best teams in the game are the Mavericks, Grizzlies, Nuggets and Pistons. When I saw the Lakers rated 88 on the little team screen, I think that means alot of teams will be rated high in the game. Posey is a 70, Jwill 71, Gasol 82, Wright 65, Bonzi 70, Miller 68. The Pistons whole starting lineup is a 70 and higher except Prince who is a 65. The Mavs have everybody in there starting lineup a 70 or higher except Dampier. Some of the ratings I am shocked at, like Dalembert who is a 53. I didnt see Livingston on the Clippers, unless he was at the bottom of the list  I thought Dampier was pretty underrated as well. Mark Blount is a 53 as well and that's a little too low for him.

i said it before if a different topic but i think alot of you put to much on overall ratings. overall garnett is better than duncan as he can do alot more things, does that mean he is better though? not in my book. the overall rateings simply put together all thier other ratings and kinda give you starting point on how to rate a player. this is why i wish the live series will start useing the other stats when considering trades. for instance prince was incredibly easy to get in 2004 and was a very good player to have.

That's what I was saying, Francis is overall like the third best PG after Baron and Kidd because he's a rebounding beast, one of the top 2 best PG shot blockers [him and Baron], and he can steal well, but does it mean you'd rather have him than Nash as your PG? Not really....

I also saw that you could edit the lenght of a players shorts. Does this mean I could gangsta-fy John Stockon by giving him a headband and baggy shorts?

My thoughts exactly. When I saw these I knew that Live '05 was destined for greatness. These were the two cheapest ways of scoring in '04. Players will have to focus more on ball movement and the mid-range shot.
