Slam-Dunk Contest: Dunking Combinations

Hello NLSC,

I can't wait till this game ships out which is on October 5th of this year. And I'm pretty sure the first game mode everyone will select first is the Slam-Dunk Contest. I'm just here to start a thread on Dunking Combinations. So when everyone gets to play the game, we will all be able to share info on how to execute different dunking styles/moves, etc.

Seeing as there is over 50,000 different dunk combinations to discover, my trademark dunk I feel which would give me a perfect score is a ball-toss into the air, then my player doing a foward flip (cartwheel), then catching the ball and pulling off the 'Six-Figure' which is the putting the ball through both legs, then slamming it home.

Hopefully, EA SPORTS set the dunking combinations all the same by executing certain gather, and take-off buttons. So whenever you want to do a 720 or the Six-Figure it will allow you to. All you need to know is to press the certain trigger buttons, the right gather button, and the right take-off button.

If anyone knows If the Slam-Dunk Contest will allow you to do different dunks 'Button-Specific' or 'Random/Anonymous' leave a reply. Also, post what you think will be your trademark dunk finisher to earn you a perfect score.

Man, same here, I cant wait til this game comes out!

I think my signature dunk would be(for now anyway because I know its gonna be a different story when the game comes out):

classic ball toss, jump and grab, 360, under the leg, and slam it home with arm in the basket(if its possible)

I hope they let you use some of the legends for the slam dunk contest such as young Jordan and Young Dominique

Sadly, Jordan isn't going to be in the game. But that's ok there will always be patches for the PC people and CAP for the console guys. My signature dunk would be a ball toss off the side of the backboard, 180 between both legs lefty dunk.

throw the ball in the air from half court, run and jump from foul line, catch the ball in the air as it bounced off from the floor, between the leg, 2 handed mad jam.

My sig dunk: Throwing the ball off the jumbotron to pull off a two handed dunk from the FT line.

my sig, just like ludas, but a lil' diff,it's my mj remix, take off from ft line, but 360 between legs, just the basic, or a dr.j remix, take off from ft line, but a lil, 720 spin. my sigs.

will you be able to hang at the basket after a dunk??

I stand at the free throw line with my back to the basket and throw the ball through my legs on the floor, then the ball goes onto the glass, then I catch it and make a 360 double pump slam and hang at the basket!

Man, those dunks you guys describe remind me of that old McDonald's commercial with Mike and Larry... "Thru the window, off the chairs, and in"

and as barkley would say "can i play?"
