Quick Question

Tue Sep 07, 2004 12:33 pm

Can anyone tell me if there was any mention of player specific dunks like Allen Iverson's 1 hand (in and out motion) Dunk, or Kobe's Flashy, unique two hand jams, or Jason Richardson's 2 feet take off's, ect.? Cause when i visited the EA website it says all new dunk animations and i was hoping that it wasn't only for the dunk contest but for 5 on 5 gameplay as well!

P.S If there is no answer to this, then if someone is a member of operationsports.com, please ask the producers a question similar to this or matter fact, steve how about you ask them in an interview. Thanks

I'm pretty sure you'll see signature dunks in-games as well...

A dunk I really haven't seen but should be included is the two-handed dunk where you extend the ball behind you by bending your elbows (the ball will be near your neck and back) in midair before slamming it down. Think vintage Latrell Sprewell.

Yes, yes, yes! One of my favorite in-game dunks of all time, I wish they'd include that soon.......

I remember seeing a segment titled "Authentic dunks" in one of the preview vids.

The dunk where u grab the ball behind ur head to your neck is on the game and i believe its called the tomahawk

it's two-handed tomahawk. One handed is kind of like the 'Lebron dunk' except LeBron cocks it back to the side.

I thought tomahawks are where you extend your arm(s) as far back without bending your elbows?

With 2 hands you half to bend your elbows to bring it back very far. With 1 hand you don't bend the elbow.

Thanks for clarifying. I was just thinking the two handed tomahawk was similar to the one Vince Carter performed in the Slam Dunk Contest when he tried to jump from the free throw line.
