I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. I've just double checked and the roster patch definitely does not crash when using the Lakers, the face I'm using for Phil Jackson is definitely compatible with NBA Live 2005. It sounds like you're using a different file, in which case it's not my problem and I can't offer support for that.

I've been keeping up with the transactions and jersey number changes this past week and with the Arroyo to Boston signing likely to be made official tomorrow, the rosters are almost ready for release. Until then, I'll be double checking some ratings, fixing some headshapes for the 2005 roster (please see this guide if you're interested in doing that yourself), seeing if I can fulfill a few requests for extras in the NBA Live PC Project for 06 and if they're finished in time, including the 2011 All-Star jerseys and court. As of this post, I have 2011 All-Star jerseys in place for the 07 and 08 updates but am still waiting on a court update and a conversion of the jerseys for 2005 and 06.

I'd like to thank everyone once again for your patience and understanding in waiting for the new rosters. I would've liked to have released the post deadline update a little sooner than this but I want to put an accurate update out there and with the time it takes to upload repackaged versions of the rosters these days, I'd prefer to get everything right and as up to date as possible before uploading as it means much less hassle for everyone.

I am trying to download v4.0 as of yesterday but at some point (currently at 19%) the download stops and never continues!
Any ideas?

Are you sure you're downloading the NLSC update? It's a .zip file, not a .rar file.

The file that's uploaded is definitely working and we're not having any server problems, so the problem is likely with your browser or connection. Nothing wrong at this end, sorry.

Try clearing your browser cache or perhaps using a different browser.

That's strange. As I said, there's definitely no problems with the updated file or our server. If you're using any download accelerators, trying disabling them; we don't block them or anything but if you're using one it might be causing problems.

What's wrong with my download?

I'm pretty much out of ideas, sorry. It's definitely at your end though, you could perhaps try Google Chrome but since you've tried a couple of browsers already that mightn't make a difference. Are you having any other issues downloading large files? It sounds like the download is timing out before it's completing.

I'd recommend the 50 MB or 500 MB file.

These are all based on the transitions used in the TNT and ESPN broadcasts during the 2011 NBA Playoffs. You can choose between the NBA Playoffs logo, the NBA on ESPN logo or the gold TNT logo that the NBA on TNT broadcasts have been using on transitions during playoff games.

Here's another completed update. This one updates the common Playoffs logos (Playoffs, Conference Finals, NBA Finals) that appear on the court during gameplay in the Playoffs.
