Download Glen's cyberfaces for those players as I said. http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic42143-0.php

If for some reason you don't want to download them, change the PLAYERPKGs back to the original, as Andrew said.

I have install those patch to sgsm, and when i load for the game i found those player nose and headshape is very strange
how can i change the head shape? i need to edit playerkgs which part ? so that i can let the patch run perfectly?

Anyone can help me on this problem? thanks~!

for the v1.05, what was the difference between the injured and uninjured?

Mon Apr 23, 2007 2:15 pm

What the fuck do you think it is? Injured includes the injuries that occurred since the roster was updated for example Gilbert being injured and so forth, while uninjured has all of the players active.

jeez..sry for asking. :|

Wow. Honestly EMMJAY, Cheetos, whatever you want to be called, alot of your questions are plain dumb. Sorry to break it to you but I think most people are fed up with your question after question after question that shouldn't really be asked.

Example: Are the freethrow shooting rituals fixed in 1.05? Of course they are. I wouldn't fix a problem then leave it in the next version when I know how to fix it.

Its common sense.

Sorry, but 90% of your posts are questions, and 90% of your questions are easily answered on your own.

hey

Hey Guys,

Anyone getting their NBA Live 05 crashing and going back to the desktop, just when a game is loading up when starting the next season in Dynasty Mode? I was getting the crashes on the 1st season when I was simulating halfway through the season so I replaced the 'players.dbf' that was mentioned earlier in this thread (The one that Shannon posted in regards to player's salaries) and it wasn't crashing anymore and I was able to play a few games during the season. I went through the off-season with draft picks / re-signings until I started the new year. I can simulate through the games but when I choose to play a game in the new / next season, it crashes.

Here is what updates I've done so far after installing the game. The following is in the order I did it in:

- Official update v1.1

- Followed instructions in Shannon's first post for the rosters and shoes.

- Frenchy's files from the 'Opening night rosters' thread.

- As well as the 'player.dbf' to fix the salaries.

Let me know if there was an update / patch or something. Any help would be appreciated.

By the way, thanks for rosters Andrew and Shannon. They are awesome. Also thanks again for the advice Shannon, in regards to the 'Pink Head' issue. (Y)

You should never replace the players dbf in your dynasty. That holds all the trades, signings, ratings, etc. The Players dbf I posted was only for use to fix the roster. I;m not surewhat your problem is but a) Does it come up with an error on exit mentioning any DBF file? and b) Does it only happen when you play with/against a certain team?

If a, your dynasty is probably corrupted and has a very minimal chance of being fixed. If b, it may be the teams jersey, cyberface of a player on that team, stadium file, etc. that may be causing the problem.

Did you open up your dynasty save and replace the Players dbf with the one I posted? If you have and didn't make a backup of the original players dbf you had, you probably have no chance of fixing it. As I said, you should never replace the players dbf file in a dynasty save, as it was intended for the roster.

I've answered the following:

a) Does it come up with an error on exit mentioning any DBF file? No. When the game is loading and reaches the last ball in the loading screen, it takes me back to the desktop and that Microsoft error prompt appears asking if you want to 'Send' or 'Don't Send'.

b) Does it only happen when you play with/against a certain team? It happens with any team if I'm playing in the next season only. Apart from that, the first season is fine and nothing weird happens.

I didn't replace the 'players.dbf' in my dynasty folder. I just replaced the "players.dbf" file in the NLSC06-07 Roster and started a whole new dynasty which was working good until the next season starts, the above mentioned occurs.

Mon Apr 23, 2007 11:01 pm

Ah ok. Thats really weird. I will try it myself and see what happens, hopefully its not a problem with the conversion. Thanks for the clear answers. (Y)

something like that happens to me sometimes too

Tue Apr 24, 2007 7:05 am

I just ran two seasons with the latest roster with no problems at all. I could intervene games, start from the beginning, sim, etc with no crashes. Sorry but it looks like you'll have to start your dynasty over. :(

Tue Apr 24, 2007 11:51 am

is it ok if i give you a link to the roster that im currently using? idk what is going on but sometimes after one play of each from 1on1, practice, regular game, or slam dunk school, it usually crashes on the 2nd play. could it be something wrong with the salary or the roster itself? when you do get the link, ignore the "february 21". its actually newer than that, so yea. my currently used roster

Tue Apr 24, 2007 12:01 pm

What AIACT are you using? This roster should be played with the default or MM07 AIACTs, as they dont cause any crashes.

Tue Apr 24, 2007 12:07 pm

i dont think its the AIACT, but im not sure, even before using newer AIACT's ive still been having this problem. but in case that is the problem, i THINK im using the MM07 AIACT

*do you want me to load up the mm07 aiact as well?*

Tue Apr 24, 2007 12:13 pm

Yes, try the MM07 and if you have no problems then that was the problem. Usually if its a roster problem it crashes on loading, and I am having no problems personally with the roster.

Tue Apr 24, 2007 12:26 pm

i am using the mm07 though..but if you want me to load it up, here it is MM07 AIACT

Tue Apr 24, 2007 12:44 pm

I really like this roster Shannon , are you going to keep updating it ( 4 playoffs ) ?

Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:08 am

hey man....i got a problem

before i start a dynasty nocioni, for example, has a overall of 79, but when i begin the dynasty, it goes to 75.. and all the overall of the palyers of my team goes down...........

is there any way to fix it??

Sun Apr 29, 2007 11:05 am

It may be because 05 has a different formula in terms of overall ratings than 07, which this roster is from.

Other than that, it is probably because Andrew dbf edits his rosters, rather than makes ingame changes. This "masks" the overall but allows the player to play like themselves, using their correct ratings, and give a chosen overall, rather then the one the game calculates.

It's a common thing with most rosters, and its not a big deal. The players won't play any differently with different overall ratings as the core ratings stay the same, and those are the only ratings that matter.

Actually, I don't do that. ;) I've always made rating changes within the game, except Rookie/Sophomore teams and even then I update the overall rating and player value accordingly. The only exceptions are hidden attributes such as shooting range and Primacy.

Mon Apr 30, 2007 7:08 am

 Must be differences between how the games calculate the overalls.
