Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

I'm afraid the roster update does not contain any portrait updates for those players, I don't do portrait updates myself so I can't help you out there.
A word about the release of v1.16: Please note that I've pushed it back to at least next weekend as I had anticipated the moratorium on player movement was going to end before today. By next weekend, all signings should be official and I can start moving players around.

Hi Andrew,
The below free agents had agreed to terms with teams:
1) Sarunas Jasikevicius, Pacers (Lithuanian guard)
2) Fabricio Oberto, Spurs (Argentinean center/forward)
3) Arvydas Macijauskas, Hornets (Lithuanian guard)
4) Eddie Basden, Bulls (Undrafted Rookie, guard)
5) Lucas Tischer, Suns (Undrafted Rookie, Brazilian forward)
6) Matt Walsh, Heat (Undrafted Rookie, guard/forward)
7) Dwayne Jones, Timberwolves (Undrafted Rookie, forward/center)
8) Sergei Monia, Portland (2004 first-round pick, forward)
From ESPN info, these players will be signed after player movement moratorium. Please help to add them in next roster update, thanks!

Thanks Tatho, I'll be sure to add everyone that needs to be added. It's possible that some of them might have to remain in the free agent pool due to a lack of space on their respective teams.

I don't know if there's a probelm in Lpasso's cyberfaces when you install it to your rosters, or if it is a mistake in the roster itself.
In Indiana, insted of Danny Granger being the rookie, Julius Hodge is in there. In Denver, Julius Hodge does not have a portrait.
Everybody else is fine.
Could you take a look at that?
Mon Aug 01, 2005 6:49 pm
Shouldn't be an issue with the roster update, I haven't done anything to cause such an error.
Tue Aug 02, 2005 5:10 am
Andrew , Do you tried to play 3 point shoot-out with rookie???
Tue Aug 02, 2005 6:16 pm
Again, I have no idea what the problem is there.
Wed Aug 03, 2005 1:23 pm

Thank you, but keeping up with signings is what I do during the offseason. However, if I do miss any transactions that occurred
before any release during the offseason, please let me know.
Thu Aug 04, 2005 1:09 am
How accurately you follow transactions?i mean do you check them out every day or what?
Thu Aug 04, 2005 1:10 am
And this is for you andrew

I don't know if anyone else has played with Bobby Simmons, but I signed him in a Franchise, played a game with my team, and I couldn't hit a shot with him at all.
He was 47th in the league in FG% last season at .466, better than Sam Cassell at .464 and a little lower than Manu at .471. I think his FG should be between 75 and 80, the ratings for Cassell and Manu. His 3pt rating should be higher too, about 60.

No need to double post there, silvvei. In answer to your question: yes, I follow the moves, make a note of them then make them in the rosters. This is what I've always done, during the season and offseason.
Not keeping the rosters up to date would kind of defeat the purpose of having a current roster update. Of course, each update is only current as of the release date, meaning it could look quite outdated within a couple of days during a busy offseason.

Arvydas Macijauskas can flat out shoot the ball. He's not a star player, but he has an amazing shot.
Sun Aug 07, 2005 6:32 pm
Just a heads up: the release of v1.16 has been delayed until next weekend, I've updated the release date thread accordingly. Unfortunately I haven't had the time this weekend, and rather than release a rushed/half-hearted update I'd prefer to postpone v1.16 until next weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

I still cant get 1.15 to work on Dynasty mode. It freezes
Tue Aug 09, 2005 10:55 am
hey andrew, i don't know who does jerseys in your updates, but you should add the cleveland 1976-77 home jersey, the yellow one. only the 76-77 away jersey is in the update
Tue Aug 09, 2005 6:19 pm
The update doesn't add any jerseys, just some jersey portraits for the ones hidden in teamgear.dbf.

Whereabouts? I've tested it pretty thoroughly, haven't encountered the same problem v1.14 had.

is there a limit to the number of free agents?
Wed Aug 10, 2005 1:37 pm

Again, because I keep up with the transaction and offseason news I am actually aware of that. But thanks anyway.
PiotraPower wrote:is there a limit to the number of free agents?
Yes, but it's imposed by the game. I can't do anything about that.
Again, please don't post listings of transactions; I keep up with them, that's the main purpose of the roster updates. If I miss a transaction in an update, by all means point out my oversight - once will be fine. Thank you.

I've seen in usbasket.com that Atlanta roster has a guy I never hear about. He's Kitwana Rhymer. I don't know if he's only a summer league roster player or is another DJ Mbenga. He doesn't appear in nba.com transactions list. It also happens in Suns roster (brazilian Lucas Tischer), Wolves (center Dwayne Jones) and Wizards (guard Donell Taylor). Even Dale Davis appears in sonics roster. Don't know. Thanks

andrew i hope u dont forget to put mendaz in v1.16 i thinkk he is a free agent

Lawrence Roberts should be added to the Grizzlies lineup. He's 6'9" (forget weight, sorry), well built, not overly athletic, but solid fundamentals. Shot out to, oh, I'd say 16'. Nice post scorer, very good rebounder, should be a PF/C, but due to need, I would make him a C/PF. Likely to play backup C.
Battier should not be a 3 pt threat. Almost, but not quite (low 70s). His 3 pt shots are wide open, set up by other teammates and he's not a creator. IMO, that should be reflected in the ratings.
