Meron narin akong copy ng ps2 version kaya lang violet din. Hindi smooth ang framerate compare sa live 04 PS2, the gameplays improved and I really love the All-Star Weekends.

may kinausap akong kaibigan tungkol sa mga dvd-r. wala naman daw sa kulay ng writing surface yan. nasa pabuburn daw ng dvd yan or depende sa gamit na dvd-r. kung gusto nyo intayin nyo na lang ung dvd-r na gold ang writing surface para sure. pero kahit papaano di ka nakakasiguro dito kasi sinunog lang yan hehehe.

hey all my fellow flips.sorry i havent posted in here before when i could have a long time ago.i live in the states and been to the philippines like 5 times and understand tagalog but cant speak it very well(100% Filipino).i have TFC at home and watch the PBA when ever it comes on. i mostly like watching the San Miguel Beerman play. and about the PBA who is our best player(local).my plans for future are to some day live in cebu or manila and play for a PBA team.

Mabuhay Ang Pilipinas.
I too am a Filipino-American living in the States and would like to keep my interest in the thread as I'm interested in the PBA(James Yapp residing in my '04 Dynasty), and just interested in incorporating my fellow Pinoys' cyberfaces in my Dynasty as well. I've been to the homeland 3 times and YES basketball is the rage there…I was balling in Negros and everyone was in their flipflops!
Anyway, I guess I would request that once in awhile someone post in English or Tanglish and keep us state-bound/Tagalog deficient community still involved. Or do we need to make a separate Tagalog/English thread? I'm pretty sure the rest of the NLSC community would love that…

i know what you mean about the people ballin in flip flops. when i played ball in the philippines w/ my cousin we had to pay because it was in the province in malibun(sp) . i did iight with my flashy dribbles but didnt make any shots because i was bent out of shape and didnt bring my ballin shoes(had to use adidas superstars). i also agree with what you said about sayin some things in english or as you say tanglish, first time i've heard that.

but the problem is there is a pilipino that do not know how to speak an english so for me i want to stay their speak on tagalog rather than taglish

hi honorglow and tim duncan21, nice to here from both of you having a pinoy blood esp you honorglow. well sorry if we speak tagalog here coz that was the purpose of this thread, to express ourselves using our native language esp many of us have a hard time expressing it using english.
to tell you both what we were discussing in this thread well most about the release date of live 05 here in philippines. also he like to ask fellow pinoy where we can buy it and also about what gamepad they will used. also someone ask if we can meet in one place and play a tournament just for fun. you know we pinoy definitely love basketball despite the lack of height.
About the PBA, there are so many good players now in PBA, yeah James yap and Paul Artadi will be a big name in PBA in years to come. Taulava still te best player in the league but have a citizen issue and stil have to prove he has a pinoy blood. mostly Fil-Ams dominate the league like Eric Menk, Danny Seigle, Davonn Harp and Mark Caguioa. but dont count out full blooded pinoy like Duremdes, Flying A, Marlou aquino and even the likes of Meneses and the Captain Alvin Patrimonio.
Also the UAAP and NCAA have so many promising players and will be in PBA in near future.

yup your right im sorry to say this but the fil-sham is totally dominate the PBA now but not all, there is a fil-am that has a true blood filipino and pre don't forget danny ildefonso 2 time MVP yan. and timduncan21 i do not know that your a fan of SMB (san miguel beerman) im one of the avid fan of SMB here too i like the moves of danny seigle,danny ildefonso,dondon hontiveros, and olsen racela

sorry nakalimutan ko si danny I at hontiveros.
im a Purefoods fan though my still struggling the past few conference.there's a mod called PBA LIVE 04 here you can play the 10 teams of PBA with every single player on the team. most of them has their own cyberface and jerseys. logo and everything about them. if you want i can give you the link but the size was 144 MB.
also there's a mod UAAP-NCAA mod!!!

Noong na sa pinas pa ako, manga 14 years ago, ang tanda ko lang na basketball player sa PBA ay si Jowerski?(sp). Kasi ang mother ko ay nag tratrabajo dati para kay subiri?(sp).
To all my Fil-Am brothers, I understand the situation. I dont know what I would do if, I couldnt understand tagalog. but hey if you keep up this thread, maybe you'll learn a bit a bout th elanguage.. and be profecient in it in some way.

yup mas maganda tlaga kung tagalog lang sasabihin natin sa thread na ito pera na lang kung may nangtatanong na hindi tagalog or hindi marunong mag tagalog alam nyo naman dito lang natin napapagusapan yung sa mga suking tindahan hehe e pano kung english language na hindi na tayo makakapag salita ng maayos tungkol sa suking tindahan

btw i'm using the bobcats. signed k. malone (sarap talaga pag malaki ang cap room. hehehe) as my starting p. forward and moved okafor on center. ngayon pending pa yung signing ni chris jeffries (backup SF sana) and courtney alexander (backup SG). FA signing's really interesting this year.

Been playin dynasty in live 05 for a while now. My team is Miami, win-lose record ko is 4-2 in all-star mode and 8 minutes quarter length. Napansin ko lang talaga mejo choppy yung games sa PS2 and there are few glitches in sidelines and in the crowds but the video and replays are smooth, and ang layo ng camera pagnag-freethrow. Mas nag-eenjoy ako sa Slumdunk and 3 point shoot out..IMHO

variable yung rating tsong. pag good game sya the last game tumataas yung overall rating nya and so forth. pero nung sign ko sya mga 69 ung rating asking salary nya 5.2 million something two year contract, tapos nagugulat ako pag tinitingnan ko yung starting line-ups nagiging 71 sya minsan. tip lang pala sa signing ng FA's, don't sign a superstar pointguard ok na yung ordinary guard lang (i use eddie house) invest your money on a superstar s.guard or superstar wingmen/big men. you can use a lot of midrange shooters sa game na to to free up your big man (in my case malone, okafor) galing kse mag adjust nung AI sa defense (all-star), specially yung double teaming defense nila.

The live 05 PC version will be alot better but u also need a good PC if not an awesome one.
But atleast sa console pede ko ring malaro ang Espn 2K5.
