Misow and ryan_giggs1986's Rookie Patch Released!!!!! V.2.0

I'm very reluctant about using last night's mock draft results for version 2 of my rookie roster patch because the draft was not well-organized the the gm's were not very prepared. the mock drafts on both nbadraft.net and draftcity.com are missing a few players and did NOT take team needs into considerations.

some shocking draft decisions from last night's mock draft:

9. hakim warrick (GS)---too early
24. charlie villanueva (HOU)---no way he would fall to late first round
41. chris thomas---:shock:
59. Lawrence Roberts
40. salim stoudamire
49. sun ming ming
41. monta ellis
29. bargnani
31. winston
30. rudy fernandez

i really don't know which mock draft i should use

I got the sam "Mckie" Problem, i think it has something to do with dthe portraits because mckies Face isnt shown anymore, maybe it´s the Marvin Williams Portrait, his ID is changed to MRWILLI, but if you click on the Portrait File it showes 3 more Datas with Mawilli in it.

In my Dynasty i put Mckie on the FA´s, and it worked all fine until the next Season, then the game crashes if i want to play or simulate a Game. Its really frustrating, done all the Rookie scouting and drafting and then it crashes in the next Season....damn it.....

the way to get people drafted in the right order is to have the draft rankings and overall ratings in order....

for example, Bogut is top pick, his overall rating might be 4000 and draft ranking is 0
Marvin Williams is projected #2 pick, his overall rating might be 3975 and draft ranking is 1

and so on down the line....the thing is the overall ratings have to be in order from highest to lowest....I worked this out through trial and error with my own dynasty and if you want to check out my dynasty link below and p. 11 of the thread you'll see that the draft results speak for themselves....there is variances in it, but that's realistic and based on team needs etc....and the fact is that the overall rating does not affect the ratings in the game, that is affected by the individual ratings given....

beri12, if you downloaded version 1 of my rookie patch, there shouldn't be any aaron mckie bug. if you saved your game before the first season ended, please send it to me, and i'd be glad to fix the problem for you, if i can. by the way what did the error message say when your game crashed?
note: aaron mckie does have a portrait, and MAWILLI is maurice williams.

John Gilchrist Bug:

for people who have already started a dynasty:

please open appearance.dbf of your saved game with the dbf editor, and change john gilchrist's face id from 151 to -1.

for those who haven't started a dynasty yet, download Version 1.1 to replace the old one.

p.s. i will release version 2 of my roster patch tomorrow or wednesday. it will not only put all the rookies on their prospective teams by draftcity's mock draft, but will also include 2 new players, sean may and torin francis.

Is there any way I can import the rookies (and CF's) 1) into a dynasty I have already started and/or 2) into a roster file with Andrew's roster/ratings update?

I mußt say i didnt use your Patch in the "Full-Version" i´d installed all the Rooks step by step from misows-Thread in my Dynasty, the mckie error is solved....but when i continue my Dynasty in the second year the game collapse without an Error-Message. I got lots of saves "before the new season" will check them if i could continue with one of them, but if i cant, could you check it, then i will sned it to you??

beri12, my aim sn is benzhang1986, you can send your saved game to me thru aim file transfer. but if you don't have aim, can you upload it on some free hosting server such as geocities or freeservers? thanks

i tested my rookie patch in dynasty mode earlier today. everything worked fine. it's BUG FREE.

Awesome, is this version one or two, and how did you put the rookies into your dynasty?? One by one or did you copy them over??
