Don't put the gamecube down

Postby Dewaco on Tue Sep 21, 2004 5:40 am

I have had the pleasure and experience of playing NBA LIVE 04 on all it's available platforms for an extended period of time and here are my rankings:

GRAPHICS
1.PC
2.XBOX
3.GCUBE
4.PS2

GAMEPLAY
1.GCUBE
2.XBOX
3.PS2
4.PC

CONTROL
1.PS2
2.GCUBE
3.XBOX
4.PC

LOAD TIMES
1.PC
2.GCUBE
3.XBOX
4.PS2

OTHER:
The PC ability to update rosters and modify certain aspects of the game gives it a clear advantage. The XBOX harddrive can also be a disadvantage as the game is developed in a manner to minimize hard disk usage for xbox gamers, ie. stats are not kept as long, etc.

I fully understand that my review is just a mater of opinion and subject do disagreement but ultimately (in a perfect fantasy world) I would have PC graphics and updateability(cool new word) GameCube gameplay and the PS2 control pad.
But that's just me.
I hope this was helpful

I have PS2 and PC but I'm only getting it on PC, I don't even play PS2 anymore and there no point in getting the same game twice.
