Could you tell me who else we are adding besides the 60 people from the draft.

um probly players on the verge of being nba players and all the new signees. we need to make a list. and make a official thread il do it now

hey frenchy when u do ur roster update can u increase some players ratings, notably steve francis, marbury, jamal crawford, mcgrady and bosh?

hahahah but i also noticed a BIG problem... teams like the bobcats are rated 96, and when i simmed a dynasty they were 2nd in the east and made it to the conference finals because of this problem. I tried to edit the dbf file and fix all the teams ratings, but it made no change. are u gonna be changingg the team ratings? i have made a list of what i think is approriate and il right it up if u want

The teams' ratings are calculated by the different overalls of the players on the team.

For undrafted rookies I suggest Allan Ray, Mike Gansey, and Kevin Pittnoggle. If you don't want one of them or want to add some, just tell me.

yea i just cant add the players to the .dbf coz i always seem to fuck it up.

If you want to add players to the game just use the create a player in the game and edit the the players file and appearance file.

do i do this...

1. Create player in game
2. Open players.dbf and change their PLYRPKGE thing to eg. ALRAY__
3. open appearance.dbf and change their id to -1
4. change the package to eg. ALRAY__

Yes. Do that. In player.dbf also change iscreated to false. I also change facepatch, ishistoric, inseason, and inplayoff to false in the players.dbf.

I don't have a portrait for Vladimir Veremeenko. What do you want me to do?

Have you ever had the following error message while working on the roster dbf files :
Error#-460
eror#90901
team=24 tradable<>0

I have reworked the roster it is ok with the rosters at the end of last season the I get this message in dynasty mode after adding the new rooks

hmm nah i havnt. i managed to add the new players alrite and i used to get a similar message except it says APPEARANCE instead. but yea dunno wats going on there. check the tradeable column in the dbf maybe?
and also is there a way for u to make the team ratings more realistic

I got that message after I added the NBA Draft 2005 rookies. It happend when it went into the next year in dynasty mode(Dec 2004-Jan 2005). I was never able to solve it. Suprisingly it was the same team number (24 Sacramento Kings). I suggest having Andrew take a look into it.

The team rating depend on the players rating. I have updated the player rating using the rating machine and it was quite good.
Now your bobcats are 96 cause I have put all the Free agent in the free agency and with the few players still in charlotte roster (8 who are pretty good) charlotte is a very good team !
Now when I will add the FA signed you will see more realistic rating (but as it will be a new season not sure that the piston rating will be very high without big ben on board)

The Bobcats do have Emeka Okafor, Brevin Knight, Raymond Felton, Adam Morrison, and Gerald Wallace.

I also think Pittsnogle should have a longer face like he does in this picture.

whos headshape did u use for daniel gibson?

I can't remember. I'll look for one for Pittsnogle when I get some more time.
